Let me Google that for you
Here’s an interesting site that produces a gif of someone typing a search. Not just any search. The idea is that when someone asks you a question that they could have Googled for themselves, rather than give the answer you send them the video.
For example, someone asks, “How do I reboot my computer?” Of course you could simply tell them to shut down or do a restart. But you go to the LMGTFY.com site and get a link that more colorfully gives the answer with pictures and results. And also carries the subtle hint that they could have done the same.
In fact, the closing line of the video says, “Was that so hard?” With the unavoidable meaning, “Next time Google it yourself!” But look quickly. Because it goes by quickly on its way to the result page.
